Senior Support Services In Home Care

Some of our Senior Support Services

Independent Life Care Services, Inc., Senior Support Services delivers a wide range of services for seniors who wish to remain living independently in their own homes. Some have no family support. Others have family members who must work to support themselves and other family members and cannot remain at home to care for a senior family member. Knowing that someone you can trust and who truly cares about you or your special senior gives tremendous peace of mind and shares the responsibility.

WHAT IS IN HOME CARE?

In home care is generally defined as non-medical support services delivered at the home of the senior. The aim of home care is to allow seniors to remain at home longer rather than enter an assisted living community, nursing home or other type of senior care. Home care may be appropriate if a senior prefers to stay at home but needs minor assistance with activities of daily living.

Activities of daily living include bathing, dressing, and meal preparation but may also extend to assistance with transportation, paying bills, making appointments, and simply being there to provide companionship and emotional support and even for security reasons in the event of dementia or Alzheimer's where some have wandered off and gotten lost. Home care services are generally available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and can be paid for directly by the client or through a variety of public and private funding sources such as Medicare and/or Medicaid, private insurance or other options. Contact us to see what options may be available for your particular situation.

The following is a list of Senior Support Services. There may not be an immediate need for all of these services now, but the great thing about ILCS Senior Support Services is that it offers plenty of options that can be added or modified as needs change - all in the comfort of home.
